HOPE CITY FELLOWSHIP

Hope City Fellowship Church extends the love of Jesus Christ into the community of which we are a part.  We aim to grow in passion for Jesus and compassion for people.  Rooted in the love of God and His Word, we desire to love and obey Him, to have fellowship with each other, and to minister to others in the power of Christ. We welcome you to come as you are, and join in the community gathering together to worship Jesus and to enjoy fellowship together. We offer child and youth services where they are taught to sing, pray, and love Jesus CHURCH SERVICES Monday evenings at 6 pm, followed by a meal together Friday evenings at 6 pm, followed by a meal together

OUR PASTORS

Richy Bickle

Richy Bickle and his wife, Lena, have three children and have been residents of the Kansas City area their whole lives. Richy serves as the Director of Programs, an Associate pastor and an instructor at Hope City, as well as a teacher at the Center for Biblical End-Times Studies.

“For those drawn to the prayer movement, as well as the mission field, the  Hope City IHOPKC Outreach Internship was created for both. Our heart’s cry is to see justice and deliverance administered by Christ through 24/7 prayer and 24/7 acts of Justice and we have been uniquely placed for both. Our facility is located one of the most poverty stricken areas in the Midwest, and we offer opportunities to serve the poor through our food pantry, community kitchen and our Substance Abuse Assistance program. We fuel our many outreaches through our onsite prayer room, which operates 24 hours a day Monday through Friday. So for those with the heart of a classic missionary but long for intimacy with Jesus, we invite you to join us for a season of 3 to 6 months that will stick with you for a lifetime.”

Fostering a Culture of Hope

“Often when I walk into the community room at Hope City, I’m confronted with situations that are so contrary to the way I live at home. So many have found themselves living in situations beyond their control. Some come in for coffee, some for a shower, others just to be around people and grab a plate of food……”
